How to Download All Snapchat Memories at Once
Snapchat's My Data export gives you every Memory in a few ZIP files. These steps get you the complete export — and the dates and locations that are easy to lose on the way.
Drop the mydata~….zip files from Snapchat. Each photo and video that can be matched to memories_history.json gets its capture date and location written into the file (JPEG photos and MP4/MOV videos); anything that can't be matched is kept unchanged and listed in report.csv. Nothing is uploaded. Free for up to 200 files.
Open the Snapchat Memories fixer →Download all Snapchat Memories to your computer
- On a computer, sign in at accounts.snapchat.com and open My Data.
- Under "Select data to include", turn on "Export your Memories" and "Export JSON Files".
- Click "Request Only Memories", choose "All Time" (or a date range), confirm your email address and submit.
- When Snapchat emails you, open My Data → See exports and download every mydata~….zip part. Do not unzip them.
- Drop all parts into the Snapchat Memories downloader to put the dates and GPS back into each matched JPEG photo and MP4/MOV video, then save the fixed ZIP.
What you will receive
- One or more ZIP files named
mydata~….zip,mydata~…-1.zip,-2.zip… Large libraries are split into parts. - The photos and videos are in the
memories/folder as…-mainfiles; captions and stickers come as separate…-overlay.pngfiles (see merge Snapchat overlays). json/memories_history.json— usually only in the first part — lists the date (UTC) and location of every Memory. The location is not written into the photos and videos.
Some older exports contained only download links instead of the files. If yours has only links, request a new export — current ones include the media.
Tips for big libraries
- Keep all parts together and do not unzip them; the fixer reads them directly and combines the parts.
- Use Chrome or Edge on a computer: the fixed library is written as one ZIP straight to your disk. Safari and Firefox get it in parts of about 1.5 GB.
- Check the count afterwards. A user reported in October 2026 that an "All Time" export was missing years of Memories even after requesting it again; the fixer's
report.csvlists every Memory in the JSON that has no file.

FAQ
Is there a Snapchat bulk downloader?
Snapchat's own data export is the bulk download: it puts all your Memories into one or more ZIP files. What it does not do is put the dates and locations into the files — the Snapchat Memories downloader on this site does that in your browser (free for up to 200 files).
How do I download Snapchat Memories without paying?
The My Data export is free. Request it at accounts.snapchat.com → My Data with "Export your Memories" and "Export JSON Files" turned on. Fixing the dates with this tool is free for up to 200 files; larger libraries will need a one-time $9 license (the paid unlock is coming soon).
How long does the export take?
Snapchat says "We strive to deliver data within 7 days, but large downloads can take longer." Download the ZIP files soon after the email — community reports range from about 3 to 7 days before they expire.
Are My Eyes Only Memories included?
Export tools report that My Eyes Only Memories are not included in the export. Move the ones you want to keep into regular Memories before you request the export.
Can I save all Memories from the app instead?
Third-party guides describe selecting Memories in the app and exporting them to the camera roll in batches of up to 100. Snapchat's help center does not document that limit, and for a whole library the My Data export is far less work.
